This is a class for new firearm owners, or those contemplating their first handgun purchase.  It is a full day (7+ hours) and includes the following content:

1. three main types of pistols

2. revolvers and their use

3. semi-autos and their use

4. basic safety considerations

5. how to safely handle different models and styles of handguns

6. pistol ammunition, construction, nomenclature

7. ammunition malfunctions and cure

8. two handed shooting position

9. stance, grip, aiming, follow through

10. determining dominant eye

11. shooting at the virtual range using "real" handguns and laser ammunition

12. selecting a pistol for you

13. caring for, cleaning and maintenance of your handgun

This is an intensive...in-depth..practical look and introduction to handguns. When completed, you will have a good foundation of selecting and safely using both revolvers and semi-automatic handguns. You will work with models from Glock, Smith and Wesson, Walther, Springfield and other major modern manufacturers.

This is a class for beginners...yes, very in-depth, but also very basic.

A typical session begins at 9am, and will end about 4pm.  Cost is $150/person; class size is limited to 4 participants.
